Marie Mitchell

Loop Dining is excited to be hosting Marie Mitchell for our next residency
12-14th September 2024
Marie Mitchell is a writer, chef, and mental health advocate. Having co-founded Island Social Club, the sell-out pop-up, she now curate’s events and pop-ups centred around Caribbean culture and food with her own version of authenticity. Dishes are developed by focusing on history, geography, and contemporary ingredients found in her locale and home, London, Marie is conscious of driving British Caribbean cuisine, and thus culture, forward. Marie published her much anticipated debut cookbook Kin: Caribbean Recipes for the Modern Kitchen, (Particular Books, Penguin), on the 6th June, to much acclaim, a book that celebrates the powerful connection food gives us to our families, culture, and to places and people around the world.
